Wills and Bequests
These gifts will be invested to insure quality services for youth in the future. In order to make a bequest, you should first speak with your attorney. Your attorney can help you include a bequest to Indiana United Methodist Children’s Home in your estate plan. When you write or review your will, ask your attorney to include such words as these: “I hereby give___% of my estate (or specific assets) to Indiana United Methodist Children’s Home, 515 W. Camp Street, Lebanon, Indiana 46052 for its general purpose.”
A gift of appreciated stock you have held more than one year qualifies for a tax deduction for the full amount of the gift, and you pay no capital gains tax on the appreciation. To initiate a stock transfer, you will need to provide appropriate information to your broker. Please contact Susan Bennett or Susan Hughes at 765-482-5900 for stock transfer instructions. Back to School Fund
The Home has an on-grounds school and funds are needed for educational equipment, books and school supplies.
